What do you guys think of Paparazzi ?

Anyone see that story about the photographer who died chasing Justin Bieber's car down a busy highway?
That's insane, I mean it makes you think... could someone be that desperate to get a shot of a car (which apparently Justin Bieber wasn't even in)... It's sad really not just because someone died, but the fact that so many people in the world are desperate to see photos of absolutely every aspect of a celebrity's life and people are risking their own lives to feed this silly habit. 

the papz are willing to go to extreme lengths even just to get a photo of a car, it's actually kinda scary...

Not only do they invade personal space and privacy but I just noticed they can say really disrespectful things, I saw a video where people were saying 'JOHN MAYER DUMPED YOU YET?' and 'Katy it's 1am, are you wide awake?', if they want an answer out of her (99.9 percent of the time not going to happen) they should at least be a bit respectful.

Paps has to be one of the most annoying things in the world for me... I hate them with the fiery passion of a million suns

Not to say they are the same thing, but I'm a hardcore member of my yearbook and I see both views on this.


Pap side:
They're just doing their job.
They need to make money to live like the rest of us.
They're human too .-.


Celeb side:
They deserve privacy.
No one wants to be stared at 24/7
They knew when they became famous this was a downside.


Now, not to say there aren't some extreme pap a*holes out there. But generally, as long as they keep their space and don't shove the camera right up in their face or take any inappropriate photos or photos where they really shouldn't be, I'm usually fine with the papas.

Don't be making excuses for the paparazzi. They don't know what privacy is. They'll go to extremes to photograph a celebrity and it can be real scary. Look what happened to Princess Diana. (In this case, I had to mention Princess Diana)

I mean, to me there are two types of Papas. The normal ones, and the a*holes one. There are a lot of extreme ones out there, in fact prob 75%, but I don't hate 100% simply because of the 25% that are only doing their job and not being dbags.

Yesterday I found an article in a newspaper. The headline was "Katy Perry - The unvarnished truth".
There were a few photos which showed her with no make-up on and it said: "Katy Perry is showing her truth face for the first time ever".
Really? For the first time ever? I could not believe that, but some articles really make me angry.
And as if nobody had seen her without any make-up before. It's nothing new and so ridiculous. They should have really watched her movie.

So I've been watching more videos and I've changed my mind from a 75% dbag 25% normal ratio of papas, to about 99% dbags and 1% normal .-.


TMZ usually has some nice reporters. Least from what I've seen on the show. Idk, it is a touchy subject for me. I generally find myself as a nice photographer for my yearbook. I stay out of the way of the action and still get pics of what's going on. Joke around a lot with people.

 I agree this is their job. But sometimes, it's boring C'mon katy was just doing sports. It's not something official. I mean, sometimes I found that boring when it's during private moment ( restaurant..... )

But of course after we are happy to have pics

I think that's a hilarious photo still. but the paps basically stalk people for a living. And well for some reason non-famous people care about what they do. I don't really care if Katy was working out, or went to run errands, or buying Cheetos...

It depends on the paparazzi. Some can be nicer than others, but some are complete dicks. I remember once me and my friends were shopping, and we walked into a store, and One Direction happened to be there, and the paparazzi were CRAZY!!! It honestly is not fair to be constantly hounded, even if ppl are just trying to get your picture.

The paparazzi are an invasion on celebrities and their privacy! I mean they know where a lot of famous people live, and they follow them literally everywhere they are able to. It's one of the things that would put me off being famous! But I will say one thing - the way Katy handles the paparazzi is amazing. They've taken pictures of her literally everywhere, whether it be exercising or on holiday! Some other celebrities can't control their anger (which is understandable) .
