Katy Perry @ The Hotel Cafe - Hollywood, CA - January 12th 2009 - SOLD OUT

sorry i for some reason cannot get an internet connection here, which is annoying. it says i'm connected but it won't let me go to websites? awesome. so i am currently on my sidekick pounding away trying to get out my little report.
so! i arrived at 430ish, and as i posted, they said they had no extra tickets. i wanted to go buy new tights so my best friend and i walked over to hollywood and highland, then after a little shopping we walked back. got back to the line at about 530. waiting, waiting, waiting. there was twelve people in front of us, turns out only two plus me had tickets, so i went to the front. at 730ish, they wristbanded us and let us in. her band members had been walking around. even though me and the two girls badly had to use the bathroom, we noticed other girls going in, so we rushed to the only two non reserved tables. and sat our butt's down right in front of the main singers mic. my friend missed both opening acts (meiko and holly) but after two hours of waiting, finally got in and she told me she wanted to go outside for a smoke, so i stood outside with her as funky1213 held my seat. (thanks homie!) soo as we went out, we saw the paps swarm the parking lot and there was katy. we may be in pictures, i dunno. i noticed angela and her cousin jenn were standing next to me.... after she finished her cig, we went inside and she sat on my lap!.. meiko was just finishing off her performance. katy's band was getting all ready. then i'm still breathing started up. and markus walked over to katy's table where shannon, mia, aaron, johnny, etc sat. i recorded i think i'm ready because its my favorite song in the entire world... and i will put it up later. i was scared to be kicked out so i was more focused on her. and ended up just randomly taking pictures. (my best friend literally took 20 very upclose videos and very nice pictures.. which i was upload later tonight.) she was cute, hawked up some flem every once and awhile. made jokes about "thinking of him" and said she's over it after shannon yelled out, "GET OVER IT...." and that made me :'(... hahahha... but! overall amazing performance for having the flu.

and yes it was playing house.

aaaaaaand then she was getting off stage, and i went up to julia and just mentioned the fact that i traveled down from canada for this, and she at first said " katy just needs 5 minutes! " then she noticed my shirt.... and turned to katy and said, you've got to check this out. katy turned and felt my shirt and smiled at me, she asked me if i made it and i smiled and said yes. then she gave me a huge hug. and julia asked her if she wanted to take a picture now or later? and she said now. i told her i came from canada for this and she apologized for being sick and i said she sounded very pretty. and then julia asked where from canada? and i said, vancouver bc! and they said they were gonna be there and i said uh huh! katy asked if i was gonna be there, and i said yeah, there, seattle, all over california, nine of your shows! and she said i love you! and said bless my heart. hahahahaha. so we were in picture holding position for literally two minutes because my camera wasn't flashing and i apologized for it being awkward and she said, its fine sweetie. we took the photo(s) and she gave me another hug and i said i'd see her soon. she was very sweet, she may have said other things but i was being rushed. and then she got swarmed and i felt horrible. and markus gave me a hug and said it was great to see me, ya.

oh and as we left, paps took our photos. it was blinding.

i will post more of the pictures when i can actually connect to the net, which may be the late night 15th.
