I loved Teenage Dream and it was the soundtrack of my senior year-we listened to it every single day.SO it will always have a special place in my heart! But I have been loving Prism lately.I can't quit and it's pretty much all that I listen to.

That is a perfect example of how a major part of what music one likes has to do with associations that you have with it.  I've talked about that before and how Teenage Dream (the song) has such special meaning to me.

Teenage dream is and always will be very close to my heart.. it means alot to me. There are songs on there that basically saved my life. However I am loving Prism and I think there are some really great things to come from it!

I really like Prism but TD was when I discovered Katy and it is definitely more special to me.

I definitely have to go with Teenage Dream. I do love Prism, but I am excited for the next step. I feel like some of the songs on Prism are kind of a continuation of TD, while most of them open the door for a more acoustic sound. I do feel like, as a whole, this album is "stuck in the middle", but opens up some avenues that will make for a seamless transition into new things.

Extremely tough draw for Prism but I am going to add my vote to Teenage Dream, the original release of which, I consider as highly probably the greatest album of all time (not a certainty as I haven't heard every album ever released by every artist) which is even better than every Best Of/ Greatest Hit collection I have ever heard.

Teenage Dream for sure was a tough act to follow.

A hard choice I must say. Each album has it's goodness. I would probably say I love them equally. Teenage Dream really is Katy living the dream and Prism is somewhat the end of that dream...but learning a lot from it.

I really do love them both as much for various different reasons.

When One of the Boys was released, I was very much in the same zone as Katy, and I felt I grew with her into Teenage Dream. We kinda went different ways with Teenage Dream but ended up being very similar again with Prism.
(if that makes any sense whatsoever!...it does to me! Lol)
