Even though Waking Up in Vegas was #9 on the chart, I would consider it to be underrated, since it was overshadowed by her later hits.  It probably would have been #1 on Teeange Dream, when Katy had become more popular.  Ironically, for just about any other artist, it would have been considered a huge hit.  I think also songs released toward the end of a decade or era tend to be forgotten about, unfortunately.

I agree, it wasn't that famous. And it's a brilliant song!

I agree, it wasn't that famous. And it's a brilliant song!
I've always held that song close to my heart. One of my favourite music videos too! I'm so glad she performed it during the CDT even though it's not one of the HUGE hits.
