On one hand I don't understand how you can have the success she did and not have a Grammy. On the other hand I totally can. I feel bad for the girl though. She is to the Grammys like Leo is to the Oscars.

I'm very disappointed too. I don't understand how they would give it to Adele who won 6 Grammys last year, it's a bit biased.

Ugh what on earth?! I think even Adele was shocked that age old song won tonight  :o The only positive to take from this is Katy will be even more determined to work hard on perfecting her album to ensure it will storm the grammys next year  :thumbzup:  :pinkbow:

People NEED to stop overrating Adele and acting like she's the best voice in years. There are PLENTY of people who can outsing her. Including Katy on her better days. The academy needs to stop nominating and awarding her at any opportunity they get. That performance wasn't even that good.

Also... makes me mad that Adele was nominated and won on a LIVE performance of a song released in 2011. Had they not included that in the category Katy would have easily won it.
