I really hope Katy wins tonight but if she doesn't win I'll be happy if Carly Rae wins. My best case scenario is Katy winning Best Pop Solo and Carly Rae winning Song of the Year. Which probably wont happen because logically that doesn't make any sense what so ever( I mean a song cant lose to its own genre and then win overall).

I have come to the realisation that if Katy never wins a Grammy. I wont be totally bummed because the Grammy judges have been out of touch for years. I say this because of who hasn't ever won a Grammy: http://www.spinner.ca/2011/02/07/grammy-awards-never-won/

I mean that list is full of legends and they haven't won one ever. The big ones for me because they are some my favorite artits are Led Zeppelin. Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The fact that these four epic artists have never won, is insane to me

Maybe it's just me, I find the Grammy Awards extremely boring. After I see Katy present and see if she wins, I'm turning it off. I'm not sitting for 3 hours and watching them.

I think if your not into lots of artists and lots of types of music. Trying to watch the whole thing can be boring if your waiting see a specific performance(s) or a specific award(s).

In 2 hours it starts on Netherlands 3.

I'm convincing a computer to record it.

I hope for the remote possibility.

• Adele submitting a live version of the same song can look too greedy and the Grammy voters can snub her like they did with Beyonce and Halo / Halo (Live).
• I see Kelly Clarkson as technically good vocalist, but she can't make songs work, can't make it believable,... Her empowerement anthem is like "I also have to release something like Firework, BTW, Raise Your Glass,...".
• Carly's CMM isn't a serious option.
• Rihanna's song isn't that good.

It depends on how the voter demographics reacts.

• "Real music", "vocalist" voters tends to favor Adele and Kelly. If they don't snub Adele, there will be vote splitting and it diminishes their voting power. If they snub Adele, the votes will be poured on Kelly.
• If the pop voters don't like not-so-involved-with-her-music-Rihanna and looks at CMM as a joke, Katy might win. If they look at Katy is a competitor to be snubbed, CMM.

Prepare for the worst, like the list of legends who never won a Grammy.

Confused!! Can anyone help me? On twitter I'm following '@TheGRAMMYs' and in the past few minutes they have
tweeted the winners of Best R&B Song, Best Rap Song and a few more..... My question is, is the award show actually
up and running now and E red carpet is behind in time or are these just awards given out before the show?
I want to unfollow if I find out the winner of Katy's award before I visually watch it
