What would you opinions be on if katy started following fans?

I agree that Katy is doing the right thing. Of course it would be amazing to be followed by her, but you can tell that there would also be a heap of problems if she started following KatyCats. The fanbase would be divided into who Katy follows and who she doesn't. And I think people would also become angry if Katy followed 'fake fans'. I think it's great that people like Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga follow lots of fans, but imagine feeling left out?

It's more annoying then boring to see it on your timeline everyday.

This may not make sense when written out but it does in my head  But I feel if Katy followed fans she'd lose the I am Katy Perry one
of you guys/normal/no higher position thing. I mean, she follows her friends on there, as you would on facebook, and as she logs onto twitter she can see the normality of their life and tweets and alternatively if she wants to see her fans she can just check her mentions, I like how she has the choice.

It would be cool. But it would just get annoying for her overtime. I know she loves all of her fans, but, going on to thousands of DM's and all that other stuff.

I honestly don't mind that she doesn't, those celebrities who are following like over 100k fans obviously don't read their timelines, whereas Katy does. I just wish she'd tweet her fans

I think she's being very smart not following fans. That way she can have fan interaction through mentions but is able to save her DMs and timeline to interact with her friends and family. I'm happy she's not following fans because it gives her a chance to hold on to her personal life. She wouldn't be able to talk to her friends if her DMs were flooded with fan messages!

Ya, it's weird cause people could be like oh Nicki and Justin etc even follow their fans that shows how much they mean to them, but in my head it shows how much we mean to Katy that she wouldn't pick any of us over the others. Does that even make sense? Idk haha
