What would you opinions be on if katy started following fans?

I hope she keeps it the way it is, im happy with her not following fans! Also, all that will be all down my twitter timeline will be 'Katy FOLLOW ME!' and I like it the way it is now if you get me? without people just flooding her mentions with the same thing. However some odd people do that at the min and obviously aren't clear on that she isn't following fans. P.s im aware she follows one, but that's through competition so:) POST YOUR OWN OPINIONS

I think she's being very smart not following fans. That way she can have fan interaction through mentions but is able to save her DMs and timeline to interact with her friends and family. I'm happy she's not following fans because it gives her a chance to hold on to her personal life. She wouldn't be able to talk to her friends if her DMs were flooded with fan messages!

To be honest, with over 30 million followers she's better off not following fans. Katycats are a small minority of those followers but even that is way too many.

I don't think katy should follow fans, the people she did follow would be like yay she loves me more! Personally I wouldn't want her to follow me, I'm happy how it is! Us katycats love her and she doesn't need to follow us to prove she loves us to.

I don't see the point, if a celebrity follows some fans it's not really fair, but if they start following everyone it ends up being pointless because they're already following too many people to see your tweets...

There'd be a division in the fanbase, people she follows & people she doesn't. If she followed me I'd definitely watch what I was tweeting, Jessie J follows me & I don't tweet half the stuff I would if she wasn't following me. I think if Katy started following fans people would be afraid to state their opinions of stuff concerning her in case she unfollowed them.

I think she definitely shouldn't follow any fans! It creates such a divide, and anyway, in more practical terms, it would destroy her twitter haha! Her timeline would be constantly full of a lot of stuff that she probably doesn't want to hear, and then because of this she'd miss out on the stuff that she DOES want to hear! And her DMs would be destroyed! Also I've seen what it does to other fanbases, for eg my friend created a book club for Florence Welch where Flo recommends books and Florence followed the twitter for it (she'd never followed a fan thing before) and the amount of hate my friend gets over it is ridiculous! As much as there's always a lovely connection between fans, the envy always destroys it!

If she follows fans there would be a bunch of jealousy and people fighting that Katy likes them better even though she all loves us equally. It would cause to much problems XD In my opinion.

I deffo think Katy should keep her twitter as it is and not follow fans. It saves jealously and divides appearing within the fan base between those who brag about being followed, and those who are jealous of others who have been followed! It also makes it all that more special if you manage to get a tweet from Katy if she doesn't follow fans

I don't want her to follow fans because =
 - there are already some drama about people feeling like they're better fans
 - people who wouldn't be followed would feel sad
 - our twitter feed and her mentions would be filled with people asking for a follow
 - that makes her shpeshul and different from other celebrities
 - I love seeing what kind of stuff she follows.
 - and let's be honest there are some things you tweet that you'd rather her not to read (not necessarily about her but..)

I follow over 520 people on my twitter (mostly Katycats  ) and have a hard time keeping up with the timeline. Could you imagine her following thousands of Katycats. She'd go insane. I have no idea how Lady Gaga does it. Maybe she doesn't actually go though her timeline, idk.

I'd hate it! We'd all get competitive and our Twitters would be full of 'OMG KATY I LOVE YOU FOLLOW ME' all the time -_- I kind of wish we got more contact with her like we used to. Bring back the KittyPurry blogs! That'd be so much better than follows.

i think its good that she doesnt follow fans, cause now when she tweets katycats we all fangurl, but idk, it wouldnt be as special if she followed us all too, & it'd get annoying with everyone tweeting her asking for a follow, it's bad enough now
