What do you think Katy's new album is going to be like?

I'm sooo excited for Katy's next album, it's basically all I think of, and I wanted to know what do you guys think it is going to be like.  :)

I'm presuming, because Katy writes her music based on experiences etc., that there will be a lot more slower emotional songs if you get me? Like Lost, TOY etc. But of course there'll also be some happy poppy songs, because let us not forget that this is Katy Perry we're discussing! I definitely can't wait for the new album, and I think me even guessing what it's going to be like is a waste of time, because you will always be surprised when it comes to Katy!

I don't know but if it is full of songs like Lost and I Think I'm Ready then I'll be disappointed

I feel like songs with lots of emotion considering everything that has been going on, but I'm sure she'll put up-beat songs to give variety. She knows how to keeps us interested;) She always throws in her hilarious sense of humour in some of her songs and I'm sure she'll continue to do so.  :xx: :xx: :xx: :xx: :xx:  :dreamboat:

I'm kinda hoping for a return to her rockish side. I loved the way Wide Awake sounded. Some medium between OFTB, TD and Wide Awake would be nice.

I honestly have no idea, but that's what i love about Katy. She truly surprises us with everything she does; nothing is ever anticipated and we never can expect what she'll come up with next. And i know whatever path she chooses to take will be amazing and will exceed our expecations! Anything she decides to do will be exciting and amazing to me!  :pinkbow:

I think it's going to be a mixture...I'd love to see her do some darker, more rock-ish songs but at the same time she's probably going to have peppy songs too. I'd also like to see some songs like TOY and Lost.

I doubt it will be 100% acoustic though I wouldn't mind seeing a few acoustic versions or songs. I love how much her voice comes out and sounds acoustically. I think I've prob listened to the one that got away acoustic version more than any other song.

As for based on experiences, there will prob be a few happy upbeat ones because of Mayer. Maybe some songs about being stronger or something along those lines. I don't see her doing an album full of slower and emotional songs.

I think there are going to be some emotional songs and dark songs, but she's Katy and she'd never make a whole album about a break up so I suppose there are going to be colorful and happy songs as well  :dreamboat:  :frolickingghost: SO EXCITED I CAN'T WAIT.

I think there will be emotional song, but funny song too :) she loves mix. I am sure she will not do all the record about the break up ( she said it herself ). Like other people said, it's katy we will be surprise, and it's for this I love her so much. she evolves all the time :D I am so excited I can't wait :)
