Hello there! Have you come out of KatyCat hibernation? Did you have a nice winter beauty rest? AWESOME!

Here’s what you missed:

In January, Katy honorably celebrated the re-election of President Obama (YAY!) at his inauguration with a BANG! After supporting him through out his campaign, she performed two concerts at the Kid’s Inauguration Concert and two days later at the official Inauguration Ball
in DC. The videos really bring back memories of the California Dreams Tour!!

February was the month of the Grammys! Katy perfectly ignored the new No-cleavage-rule (duh!) and amazed us in a mint green robe which made us want lime green jello. Although she didn’t win, (AGAIN! SURPRISE!) Katy enjoyed the show with her velvet-clad beau next to her. So what do we say KatyCats? Right – she’ll definitely win next year! Or definitely the year when Leonardo DiCaprio wins an Oscar.

While Katy’s working on her new album, she likes to recommend her favorite artists to us via Twitter. To make her absence easier for you, feed your iPod with these sweet tunes she wants us to listen to. One of them might be a future support act, you never know! Come talk about Kacey Musgraves , Tegan and Sara, Azealia Banks, M83 and Sia who is helping Katy write her new record on our Inspiring Shit board!

Kate said a few posts ago that she had an error when that was sent out so some members didn't get it.

Your profile would be set up to receive forum e-mail notifications by default but like you say you may have opted out.
