Ya I'd definitely say she'll pick a less kind of 'out there' theme! She said in an interview (can't remember where, it was awhile ago) that she was a bit sick of the whole candy era, and would be glad to move on! Haha! I think anyone would after the amount of candy themed things she's had to wear/associate herself with in the last while! I definitely think that the birds/flower/nature stuff might be some kind of hint! I'd love if she did a theme like that as I'm obsessed with those kind of things! I feel like we have no hope guessing though, haha, you never know with K-Bird, she'll probably completely surprise us! Either way, I can't wait!

Carnival isn't really something new or original though. KISS tried to do it in '98 but didn't fully deliver, Motley Crue did it and succeed in the early 2000s and like Icanaffordyou said Pink did it.

Britney Spears did a circus theme which isn't much different. Katy needs to do something different and fresh. Why copy everyone else? And Pop Art is out of the question. Lady Gaga's doing that one. But what could Katy do that's different? There isn't really anything new under the Sun.  If Katy does go dark/goth she needs to channel Amy Lee/Evanescence and go supernatural/New Age. I don't think Katy's going be be that dark, it's not her style, but that's the right way to do it.

But what could Katy do that's different? There isn't really anything new under the Sun. 

That's the whole point of being original Candyforina was something fresh. Take KISS' 1982-1983 stage. The put the drumkit on a friggin tank! That played off of one of the songs of their album called "War Machine". Then for their '89-'90 tour they put a giant sphynx behind them since their album was called "Hot in The Shade" and that was the cover. Then their '92 stage had a giant statue of liberty who's face would fall off and her hand would crumble to reveal her shooting the bird


Katy will surprise us with something fresh and exciting, that I'm sure of.
