Album 3 - Rumour, Speculation and News.

So, with the changes to her twitter and given things we already know, what if Katy named the new album "Katybird" and it was acoustic and maybe a little rock. I think I might die if it happens!

It sounds brilliant, but it wont happen, unfortunately. There's no way the next album is going to be acoustic, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bonus disc of acoustic versions of chosen songs from all 3 albums as a 'Fan Edition' of the album or whatever. Which would be awesome. 

I had a look around earlier today, and I *think* she changed her twitter background to the Candyland image back in January 2010, which as we all know turned out to be the era theme and the inspiration for the California Gurls video. So I'm betting the next era is Nature/Bird/Free/Flying/etc themed, which sounds to me like a nice change from the food stuffs! Of course, it could be a coincidence, but I wouldn't put it past her to already be hinting about stuff!

I'm going with your theory. Especially after her look on the PCAs. The leaf tattoo she got last year as well... haha

maybe it'll be a fall release as well.

i wouldn't want her to release an album full of unreleased songs, i like that only KatyCats know about them

I like the idea of katybird and some piano. I dont know how I feel about a whole album released of unreleased songs cause i like that they are kinda just for the katycats!

I've suddenly got REALLY excited about the next album I don't even mind what theme etc. I hope there will be some acoustic though but it will just be so good to have new Katy music. Can't wait for the tour either, CDT was so much fun, I wonder what sort of costume I'll have to try and make this time, I still have a load of glittery cardboard gingerbread men and cupcakes from last time haha

lmfao i still remember her saying: "i feel like its ok to be missed." in that interview and i was just like: NO omg NO hahah, so happy she took some time off and is now coming back this summer (hopefully)
