Does anyone know how Krusty is called these days? Read somewhere that Katy renamed him (her?)...

Someone heard her mention the name "Monkey" but I dunno... Poor cat. 

As far as I know, I think that she did rename Krusty to Monkey. When she talks about her cats that's who she mentions, unless there's the highly unlikely possibility that she got rid of Krusty and bought a new cat.

You must not be aware of any of the times Katy talked about alanis and how she has inspired her as well. Before queen actually. u must not know about the hotel cafe private gig that Katy had alanis at and they sang alanis' "u oughta know... Or that Katy had the honor of introducing alanis on... Ellen degeneres (I think it was)... And that the hotel stuff with alanis was originally planned to be in kp3d, but plans changed...

I know, I do know (well I didn't know she introduced her on Ellen) but in interviews she's always given the impression (at least to me) that Freddie was like the top inspiration for her (Alanis too but I just felt like Freddie more cause I don't think she mentions Alanis as much) and I just find it weird that there's no mention of him in the film and it feels like the part where she's talking about Alanis she should be talking about Freddie. Like when she's talking about being at a friend's house and her friend playing her You Oughta Know (maybe that happened with Alanis too) but all the other times she's told that story, that's been the point where she mentions Killer Queen, and it just seemed strange that there was nothing about it in there.

Understandable! I dont think it flowed as well in the movie to have Freddie/Queen... PLUS she had the gig with Alanis and the original plan was to have THAT as part of the movie, but things changed. PLUS the Glenn Ballard ties... PLUS Alanis being a FEMALE... plus Katy having similarities to Alanis... movie wise, it all just flowed very well.

Katy has told a story about being on a swingset and hearing Alanis....

I totally see where you are coming from, but the mention of money questions the sincerity and validity of it... which I dont think is necessary.

Exactly, it probably made more sense to have Alanis in it when she's talking about songwriting and writing about how she feels rather than just religion. It always seems like Freddie had a bigger influence on her performance style rather than her songwriting.. I showed my mum (massive Alanis fan) some of her older stuff and she was like, "Oh my god! She must have loved Alanis Morissette..." Even the way she sang sounded so Alanis-y at times, which I love.

haha. I love Johnny. I enjoyed this, even if he doesn't care for her music.   

He had orange hair at one point so he can be quiet about the hair.

What happened with the hotel cafe/alanis thing anyway? In one of the bonus features there's footage of her walking out of Hotel Cafe, all in like slow mo and everything. Would've loved to see it.
