SHOW YOUR WORK

lol well i counted all of the M&Ms and made sure not to double count the ones that looked funny cause the glass made some look like there was an extra and then i just doubled the amount that i counted and i was like i bet theres a bit more so i just guess 195 lol

i shouldve sumbited earlier poo.

what i did was count the ones that were at the bottom all the way around and guessed there were about three in the middle. which is six. then counted up, which was about 11. so 99. then guessed there we're about 70 more on top. and got 169. :P

RECOUNT!

that's funny because i did exactley the same thing. i was thinking of posting 190/192 but i figured that was a bit too much so i posted 185.

You know, if this contest happened today and I knew the volume, I could easily pwn this since I learned how to calculate this.

http://lifehacker.com/5324692/guess-the-number-of-mms-in-a-jar

Basically, the formula is ([volume in mL] / .715) * .665

the .715 is the volume of 1 M&M, the .665 is the packing fraction.
